Hi all,
Dug this near a late 19th century home, although I believe it replaced an older house. I think it is made of brass. There are no markings. A tab is broken off at the 9 o'clock position in the 2nd pic. Oldest things found nearby were a flat button w/ an alpha shank & a Matron Head large cent. Plenty of modern stuff found also.
