Piece of scissors from early 1800s Settler site.

Cleaned up this piece of scissors.

Looks kinda like a screw broke off in it where it would connect the other piece.

Good find...that's generally how I find them as well although I have one full pair. You must have an electrolysis set up, cause I know they didn't come from the ground like that......but what are you sealing your iron with, it doesn't end with just removing the rust .

Rust remover and then I'm boiling it in wax
