Got back from California late afternoon and a familiar site says I'm just about home. There's still thousands of pounds of gold pulled outta of the base of that mountain today, but no longer by those with just a dream, as it was in 1860. It's all big business today.

Good pics! Growin up, that was the go to place for Oklahomans, so they could brag about it to the rest of us. I've lived here 18 years now and never been there, haha!

I road up to the top on the cog railroad in around 1984 I'm thinking it was. I'm planning to take the grandson for a ride on that train this summer. It beats driving your vehicle up to the top. The veiw from up there is definitely a sight to see.
