Went detecting last night with a friend who has an XLT. His machine kept saying that the coin was dead center of the whole we were digging. We dug a lot and had a mishap and had to give up!
Actually the hole was 5.5 inches at its widest point and about 8 inches deep. But the picture was funny! The coin was a 1980s zinc penny just under the ground one inch from the right wall of the hole. We laughed ourselves silly! This is such a fun hobby!!!
Hope this doesn't offend anyone but we thought it was funny.
