For the record, I was the one who banned him, and it took a LOT to make it happen. While I cannot post what he sent me here, rest assured that if I could there would be no doubt in your mind that banning him was the ONLY choice I had. His initial ban with me was just a couple of weeks, and it was his reaction(s) to that that caused the increases. You've gotta work pretty hard to get on my radar, and a lot harder still to provoke me. It is unfortunate that he won't be contributing to this forum anymore, but I wish him well. If anyone still doubts the severity of his infractions, they are free to PM me, but let me just say that his communications with Forum Foundry during and since his banning have squashed any hopes of a reversal beyond the farthest reaches of a person's imagination.

Thank you ! Those who blindly "follow the leader" without knowing the real story of what they're all about are no better. Maybe now they will realize that Pippin was a borderline madman, not the innocent martyr they tried to make him out to be. How can anyone honestly defend his behavior with a straight face ?

Thousands of Forum members conduct themselves every day in a decent, respectful manner. A very, very few do not. Those are the people who eventually get themselves banned. And in each and every case they richly deserve the ban. Treasure Net moderators bend over backward acomodating them until they reach a point where the banned member obviously has no respect for other members or the moderators. Then they are gone and good riddance.

And what is the cry of those very few who get banned ? "I was singled out for speaking the truth !"

What a pantload. The banned are banned for being such an obnoxious, disrespectful waste of time that they distract from everyone else carrying on decent dialog with one another.

Rather than realizing and facing their antisocial behavior, they cry and whine that they are in the right and are somehow unfairly picked on and singled out by the moderators. No one gets banned for following the rules and respecting other members and moderators. If you cannot understand that you have way more problems than just being banned from a website forum.

Having looked through into the warm glow, and not being able to enjoy the fire within for six months, it's on your own head if you offend/attack a Mod or Member on here...be warned it can be very cold outside... looking in ...Farewell Pip, but you went to far.

There is no UK Brian banned... Also no UK Brian currently registered. If he requested his name be changed the old name would no longer appear on records, any one banned their name still appears, member group would say " banned".

I understand FFARL, and thanks for speaking up. However, the elephant in the room is the environment many of us experience here at T-net. Not welcoming, not politically neutral, but just the opposite! We experience a lot of bias and harrasment, and some like to pretend that was not, and is not, the case. For example, Treasure Hunter posted IN HIS SIG a photo of someone with an Obama arm band holding A GUN to the head of another person. Why was he not banned for that? Since the playing field is so very level and all here at T-net?

Who is "We" that you refer too.... just curious?
