Pippin is now a friend of mine on Facebook. He informed me he was banned for life by Treasure Hunter. I'll leave it to the reader to come to their own conclusions on that...

You were informed wrong. Pippin was banned by admin for 3 months for attacking members in PMs after being warned by admin to stop including forwarding the admin pm warning to the members he attacked.

The ban was then increased to 6 months when pippin sent the head admin a nasty Email telling him where to go among other nasty comments.... (not a smart move, but nothing new)

Pippin's lifetime ban was because pippin went to another forum to attack me and also called my wife an Oriental whore, that comment earned the lifetime ban here ...

Pippin's last 5 bans were all by admins...

I was unaware of any of that, and will ask Pippin about it. But me suggesting the readers could make up their own minds was in no way "out of line". If he did indeed go off on you as you claim, of course that was wrong and inappropriate.

While I cannot post what he sent me here, rest assured that if I could there would be no doubt in your mind that banning him was the ONLY choice I had. His initial ban with me was just a couple of weeks, and it was his reaction(s) to that that caused the increases.

You've gotta work pretty hard to get on my radar, and a lot harder still to provoke me. It is unfortunate that he won't be contributing to this forum anymore, but I wish him well.

If anyone still doubts the severity of his infractions, they are free to PM me, but let me just say that his communications with Forum Foundry during and since his banning have squashed any hopes of a reversal beyond the farthest reaches of a person's imagination.

I understand FFARL, and thanks for speaking up. However, the elephant in the room is the environment many of us experience here at T-net. Not welcoming, not politically neutral, but just the opposite! We experience a lot of bias and harrasment, and some like to pretend that was not, and is not, the case. For example, Treasure Hunter posted IN HIS SIG a photo of someone with an Obama arm band holding A GUN to the head of another person. Why was he not banned for that? Since the playing field is so very level and all here at T-net?

And there, for those of you who choose to jump to judgement without ALL the facts, is the rest of the story. Yeah what an awsome guy that Pippinwhitepaws is.... If he ever called MY wife a whore on a public forum a ban would be the very least of his worries...
