Places to Dredge In Colorado

I am trying to plan a trip to Co, and was wondering about highbanking or dredging.....any thoughts, help appreciated

Easy would be to join Colorado Gold Camp or Gold Prospectors of Colorado as they have claims you can dredge. The main public area is Clear Creek Canyon in Jefferson County. I think Dennis O'Neal still allows dredges for a modest fee on his property. Beyond that it may take some research. The BLM here allows up to 4" dredges with no permit needed except on the Arkansas River BUT you always have to look out for private property and claims. I hope others have things to add here.

PS no gas powered anything in metro Denver, Cache Creek or Fairplay beach...all of which are great for non powered prospectors.
