Plate & Pin

This was found by sasnz on a hunt we enjoyed yesterday and we are not sure what it is. Possibly part of a hinge? Probably Copper, definitely non-magnetic.
It's just under 1 and 1/2 inches long.
Any suggestions?

Re: Plate & Pin

You are correct .. It is part of a swinging Cafe door hinge.

Did they make brass refrigerator hinges? Seems like something as old as that piece appears to be would have been an ice box and probably would have just had butt hinges. :dontknow:
