Can you freeze and re-heat this dish :icon_scratch:

Yes you can , Shaun ..... If there's any left from the first sitting .
Another addendum : passing skinned , gutted squirrels over a strong lightbulb will reveal any stray shot/hair/ect embedded in the flesh so debridement can be completed before cooking .

I wouldn't mind doing all this...as long as he didn't have his little eyes open :-\

Just kill him first, and when you peel the hide off, use it to cover his eyes. You would probably want to remove the head before cooking . . . although one Choctaw friend of mine preferred them to be looking back at him at dinnertime.

Thanks, maybe taking the head straight off would help :icon_thumleft:

Now that you mention "hide" though, how many squarells would it take to make a decent sized dwelling?

To make a dwelling (Native American tent or teepee) use the ration of 1 squarell per 15 nauga's or i bufallo per 120 squarells. There is a 27.50 (%) percent loss of hide area due to trimming of appendage excess.

Nauga hide, by the way, is exceptionally rare. :coffee2:

once as a "bad" teenage type kid --to prove a point to a freind --- I took a photo of a harp seal --put it on a gallon pickle jar * with the phraze "save the baby nauga don't use their hides" --- we sat by a mega mart type place with the jar sit on a card table--- let me tell you I cleaned up --- lots of folks knew that some folks couches were cover by innocent lil nauga's hides , hardest part was keeping a straight face while looking at those morons dumping change in the jar.

as the great WC Feilds once said --its morally wrong to let weak minded folks have money , since they don't know how to treat it properly -- they would most likely waste it on food and shelter thus breeding more weak minded folks.

I don't know about squarrels but I would like to start a Naga ranch.
Seems they might go along with my Emu heard.
I keep sending money to my manager in Montana and he says things are going great.
I am up about 50% since I have started. Not bad when the economy is doing poorly.

Very well researched Stefen! The Nauga hide has become very rare in modern furniture, and when you can find it, is far too expensive.

You ought to see how it looks on our La-Z-Boy sectional here in the showroom! So very 70's!

Here is some pictures i took yestarday of the wild around are house. I made a post on daily pictures but no one seemed to comment.. This very cool.
