Does anyone know if a Garrett Twin Box Treasure Hound will pick up on the surface of a pond? Say the pond depth is 6-8' deep. Positioning over a big (2'x2') metal object, on the surface. Would there be any problem reading it? I know mositure helps transmitt a better signal. Like ground being wet, after a rain will help. Anyone know for sure about reading over water with a T. Hound?
