I found this iron buckle item yesterday in a field where I found several enfield bullets and a Confederate flat button. I'm a littlee worried it might just he farm machinery chain link but mitt sure

I do not believe that this is a belt buckle. Looks like half of a hinge. A big pin went through that hole and held the other half of the hinge on. IMHO.

It does look like it could be a link from a track of farm machinery. Definitely not a buckle.
