Please Help Identify

Hi. Seeking assistance identifying these items. All found very close to balls bluff battlefield on the Potomac (Virginia side). The bullet casing says ?Remington UMC? around the actual shell, and then ?Remington Express 28 GA? on the butt of it.

Any info appreciated!
