Please help me date this buckle neat design.

Pretty sure this is a buckle but please correct me if I'm wrong. Can somebody date this for me its a really neat design. Scratched it with my digger a little it was under a very large root from a 100 plus year old tree. The root came out from the tree a good 20' or more.

I have dug a lot of ornate parts and pieces but rare to get a whole one. Great buckle :icon_thumright:

Same here, it seems all the nicer ones are always broken :(

I also have dug many many pieces. One was solid silver and marked... would have been a very nice one if complete.
