🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Please help me ID this?

This was found in a cornfield in Pennsylvania, here is what I know:

On this site stood a log cabin church that had been taken apart and moved in 1772. Thats all I know I wish I had more info.

Anyone know what this thing might be?

My guess would be along the lines of a book hasp part or a small drawer pull.
Perhaps from a jewelry box type.

You may be on to something-I had a few ideas thinking it was a zipper pull, charm from a bracelet, etc-never thought about a small drawer pull. Thanks for taking a look-

The hole looks worn, as if it were once on a locket or bracelet chain. It may have had a similar hole on the other end.

My best guess is that it's brass or some copper-based alloy. I wish I could remember how it rang up on the Deus 2, I was digging everything that day due to the history of the site. I'll try an air check later today if I remember. I noticed that lip on the reverse also.

All I know is that it's old lol.
