Please help with ID'ing date and origin of terracotta bottle find while snorkeling

Any help will be awesome. Looking to find out date, origin and what might have been inside? Found this bottle snorkeling the other day...from the recon I did thus far, found out VandulkenWeiland & Co was a booze distiller - saw some of their case gin bottles on the web....but this bottle is terracotta/ceramic - with Schiwdam also engraved on it with letter #A9479 engraved as well....date?

Dutch gin or Jenever (Geneva).

Pictured is the early label but they got sued by Dekuyper and couldn't use it after 1893 (ish).

I was thinking the bottle was turn of the 20th C.

There are Dutch stoneware gin bottles on ebay from the mid 19th C.
