i have looked everywhere for the maker of this pottery I have a feeling I have something good here can anyone help me find out anything about it. the mar is a P THANKS FOR ANY HELP

In the above URL you can see the same makers mark on the bottom. A simple search of "rookwood 6132" will show you many examples

side note yours look likes it from 1949 "XLIX" = 49 for year made, and 6132 is the model number

What you really want to find is some pottery made by George Ohr.
