We as kids always tried to get an Aggie or Agate material marble.
When I left home my mom up and threw out my marble collection, along with my cheerished baseball cards.
I am sure to this day I had an original Babe Ruth!

Thank you very much for your help/information, very appreciated. This is exactly what I was hoping to get from some members on this site.
There's so much information that I'm able to use off of that site, so cool!
From reading a little bit, I'm certain that I have a few of those. Maybe not the BIG dollar ones but who knows, someday I just might find them at a sale or antique shop. I also know now what to look for when I'm out looking for new treasures, lol..
So sorry about your collection accidentally thrown out. Unfortunately had the same happen to me regarding my childhood collections.
Again, BIG THANKS!! I definitely will keep in touch and share my finds.

You have a mix of old and new marbles there. Some are nice looking!

That site of highest priced marbles is way off. The highest it shows is $600?? One sold a while back for $23,000.00. It's nothing for a marble to bring over 600.
