I, personally, would never restore an artifact. But if I wanted one done I'd use Thornton Pyles "Dr. Gomer" to do the job. I'm from Florida and don't know the experts I'd trust in your area.
 

theres a guy in Dayton whos a good restorer cant remember his name offhand.I dont think it looks that bad.I'm not sure if it would add any value to the piece.I display my better brokes right along w/ whole pieces.

If you don't mind spending the money then I would restore it. I think if it was a tip ding I wouldn't restore it, but you have the diagnostic trait of this relic missing. Restoration doesn't increase the value much though. I would use Dennis Bushy. I have only restored one artifact and that was a e-notch I found.
