i haven't found coins for a while....today i found 6 and 5 of them came out of the same hole....nothing old but it was fun to dig, even if it was getting very dark.....

i'm wondering if the gray lead is a civil war bullet?

i didn't think much about the presidential coin until i looked it up.....they were made by scoville in the 1930's....it was a cracker jacks prize...and people collect them still....interesting....

the spoon must be silver plated?.....it is starting to peel at the edge.....

a good day....

Nice collection of relics mom! The bullet could be CW, might have been a blow-through, or it tumbled - any rings visible? Peeling spoon, you got it on the plating theory. That's a good piece of mother of pearl by the look of it, and a harmonica reed too, seems like a pretty good range of years for the site, so more opportunity for more finds:) Nice pocket spill too, those are always fun, congrats on a good hunt!

Hey , at least you were able to get out and have a little fun - stay with it the goodies will come !

Nice finds! I found two of those Cracker Jack Mystery Club coins in an old schoolyard a few years back...Thomas Jefferson and Franklin Pierce. When I researched them I found that they were from a contest that Cracker Jack held in 1936. Congrats and HH!

Cool, That was when you really did get a prize in your Cracker Jacks. Now it is only a piece of paper :sadsmiley:

thank you swampyankee.....i looked for rings on the "bullet" and didn't see any...but it is the right size.....the glass must have my flash reflection on it...it's just plain glass...i find quite a bit and old crock pieces too and like to save them in an old mason jar......it was a fun day....

Today your lucky if you get a knock-knock joke written on a shred of paper as a cracker jack prize lol.
