Definitely looks like it could be although I've never seen one made of iron.

please see my post at my best find...its an antique gold plated little spoon. i got it from the same area. i thought its just like the hundreds of small metal pieces i got until i cleaned it with chemicals...

OK Ill check it out. I just thought IDing the shell casings would date your remote site to see who was using it and when but maybe you have already determined this.
