When searching Loomis boxes, I have to sit with at least an extra roll. Not that there is an expectation of finding silver, but rather there are so many short rolls.

i just keep a small box with ~ $100 face of clad to replace keepers with and refill when it gets low.

0, I just return them all to a coin counter which does not require exactally 1,000 half dollars. The machine takes anywhere from 1 half dollar to as many as you bring.

Dont we all keep a bowl / tupperware container on our sorting table with loose change?? I just had to add a roll to the bowl last time hunting halves

I sit down with an entire spare box of halves, you never know! Wait a minute, if I had a full box of silver halves, and replaced all of them with clad halves......I would have... hmmmm
