000aaa.jpg

the map will appear & You can Scroll in & Out using your Mouse Wheel.
Open a second Window & Compare Google Map of the area Your Interested in.
Most likely Beers produced maps like this For all Kentucky.

Some roads May have Disappeared, or appeared after 1879
And the same for farms Etc. But His Maps are Surprisingly Accurate on the Roads that were there Then. Spelling of Names however ??? Apparently the People on the ground Spelled some names Phonetically & By Neighbors Thinking they were spelled at the time with limited education. But the Maps can be Very Helpful for finding roads etc.

I am not from Kentucky I am From N.E. Pennsylvania
So Following maps from there would be Very Difficult for me.

good luck
