What is the law for the beaches in the Pompano beach area? Heading there soon and plan to detect. Can one get in the water or only low to high tide line?

No laws there. You can hunt just about anywhere you want except some waters of the treasure coast and in some parks.
Beach and water hunting you are fine just about anywhere. Hunted there before and surrounding beaches.

been there many times, they did beach refurbishment not too long ago so the dry sand is mostly fresh drops, fyi. gl/hh

Thanks for the info. Got to hit the beach today and found lots of coins and a 10k high school ring. Googled the school name and only found one by that name. Going to call them and see if they are the one and if they can identify the owner from the initials inside.
