I found this recently, I think i need to take it to McClarty and have it authenticated.
Did you clean it? What color when you recovered it?I have tried to get a clearer pic, but not working out. the pic with the expanded view is the back..(mount) the other two the Top..the piece seems to show indentations all the way around (mounting for jewels?) and then rings till the center look like a place for a center piece would have set..... yes I think it was a ring broken off the actual ring part and this is the setting... Of course I probably have convinced myself of that. LOL
no one said to clean it. The question was did you and if not, what color when you recovered? Is this the exact color as when you recovered?I didn't want to ruin the metal so no test for silver... I think it's brass or copper? maybe
I was hunting at night when i found it. but it was dark in color and after I got home I washed it mild soap and water it.Did you clean it? What color when you recovered it?

2) Emeralds ?
3) jade ?
4) cut glass ?
