Possible Death Trap?

While exploring I came across what looked to be a cave. The rocks above didn’t look all that stable. Could this be a death trap or just a precarious stack of rocks? I couldn’t find any hearts or other markings in the immediate area though it is known the Spanish were there back in the day. Didn’t seem to find anything that would set it off if it is a death trap but I am not an expert? Any Suggestions?

Doesn't look like a death trap to me. No marks either way, are there any signs leading
to it? Probably no treasure either if no marks anywhere.

Looks like a natural occurance. No real twigger and dead rock seems too large to drop through opening. Keep in mind, we are looking at a photo, which does not always tell the full story.

Use your bear whistle first. Just lurking, hit it a couple times real hard with a another rock. If it comes down, you know it was not good to crawl under it. I have a long walking stick made out of a cactus stalk. I usually tape a small light and my camera on it first and run it up into the hole. Snakes are out there. Good luck.
