Maybe this is wishful thinking but I can’t get any details off of this possible coin. At first I thought I found a flat button but close observation and comparing this to an IHP, I am thinking someone took a fatty IHP and pounded a small square nail through it that dissolved away leaving only the head.
Am I stretching this a bit lol?
What do you think?

I’m not feeling it….it looks brass, but ya think there’d be something to see IHP-wise

It's got the thickness of a fattie, but to me, just doesn't present the coloring or detail to show me an Indian head. Button, IMHO, but excellent find reagrdless!

Button on the left IHP on the right.
Or are you comparing the IHP thickness with the button?

I was comparing the thickness of a 1908 IHP to the thickness of a fatty
