This is from a hunt in Lebanon, PA. The site was an indian trading post in the 1700s. Any chance that round object might be indian related. It's really heavy.

Could this be a ball from a Native American war club? Like this one?

Hey GForce. It looks like a natural flint spall with the cortex still on it. I do not think it was used in a war club. I often find them here as well. My guess is natural Geo fact. I have seen some nice artifacts from Pa though so keep your eyes open. Good luck.

Umm, he said it's made of lead.

My first thought was lead slug turned inside out so to speak, from an impact. It is similar to a slug I recovered that had gone through a deer a few years ago. I found it against the hide while skinning. It's amazing how often that hide stops a projectile, even from a high power, from exiting.

It's definitely made of metal. It is about the size of a racquetball.

Plenty of great finds there Gforce. possibly someones' lead stash, for later melting and making of slugs/bullets. Looks to have been carried around awhile as it bears many scars of being banged around. just my wag.
