Could be natural rock or piece of blank from pictures posted.....When you post indian artifacts please don't wet them and take pictures with good natural light and all sides.

That is confusing. Autocorrect hard at work. Should have said Test Rock which is something they could have been testing for quality. Sorry about that I should have proof read it.

Haha no worries I thought it was something I’d never heard of.

I'd say it is a throw away blank. Broke while test flaking and disgarded.. just my guess.

All I can tell is that it appears to be a tan/brown chert material.
I see a faint possibility of it being an early-stage artifact, but not conclusive IMO.
