A WWI, and up to current times, Sharpshooter Badge has two fastening points for a Ribbon either at the top or bottom. Yours looks like it would of been attached to a necklace of sorts.

I am not familiar with a CW Sharpshooter Badge so no help there. I'm sure someone on here will be able to help you out though.

Yours may be something like this:

EDIT: I kind of jumped the gun there. There is a difference between a Badge and a Medal and yours looks more like a Medal but, not sure if it would be a Sharpshooter Medal.

Here's another example for you. This is a Marksman Badge from sometime around WWI:
