Possibly a dumb question but i'll still ask.....best magazine subscription

I'm looking to see if there is any magazine subscription out there that gives leads to potential spots just as joining the GPAA for gold locations but one for relic hunting or coins and jewelry.

With all the rules and restrictions now days, I was hoping that there is a magazine out there willing to provide information on public spots.

Thanks

Western & Eastern Treasures, and Lost Treasures are both excellent magazines that come monthly with both mailed hard copy and online versions.I believe there is a relic magazine that is also popular but I have not tried that one myself. Some of the manufacturerers have their own limited online magazines.

TreasureNet is the best subscription there is.....Why not become a charter member? What magazine is going to give you the info found here, pictures, finds identified, and help when asked in just a few minutes most times...

hand print-2_edited-3.webpGPAA- new guide is just comming out
Coins & jewrly- just go to a well used beach or park about 6PM
Civil War - Best documented. There are many books that have a complete set of battle maps
Caches & ghost townes- U.S.Treasure Atlas by Terry
Permission to hunt- You are going to have to get that yourself

Hey Bruce, showing and writing about a good nugget spot, is different from showing and writing about a good coin/relic spot. Because nuggets are almost defacto self-renewing and naturally occuring (d/t they took millions of years to make, and are endless in potential/areas). But coins/relics are finite and locale specific. So if someone had a spot that was still "giving up" seateds, silver, jewelry, etc... Do you think he's going to give the GPS of such a place? He'd be blown over with others elbow-to-elbow right away. And historical spots might be "ok" with a hunter or two (who go un-noticed and no one cares or thinks about it), but sure as h*ck, if you put 7 or 8 hunters on that same meadow, guess what's going to happen? Someone passerby is going to ask themself "what's going on? what are they doing?" and start finding some reason why they shouldn't be doing it.

So for coins/relics/jewelry, most spots are for the finder/researcher, and you're not going to find articles that say "x marks the spot for a 10 silver day" or whatever, as you might for a nugget region.
