Posted these on the bottle forum as well. It was a great dig and we found some great stuff. The pot would have been the best but it does have a hole in the side about 2" x 4". >:( The inks ended up be the best after the pot. The blue ceramic one has some great character. Not sure where it was made. The rest of the pit ended up being around 1890-1900, with crown top beers that had local names embossed. The druggist bottle are really neat as well. It was a good day to dig but please send the rain so I can probe somemore pits. Have fun out there and be safe everyone. jgas

Looks like a great place to dig, Jgas :o Hard to say what you might find under the earth ??? That pot (vase) is huge :o

That pot is great Jgas. I see your still doing good on the privey digs.

Awesome digs as usual jgas,

You're right, we do need that rain here. The soil is as soft a talcum powder and hard as a gravel drive.

i cant belive that that HUGE thing is still intact!!!!!!!!!

Those are great pieces. I have a small collection of local druggist bottles on a shelf. They are hard to come by in good shape. Keep it comin.
