These pottery fragments were dug from a very old trash pit located right where the battle of franklin happened during the civil war. We aren’t sure if these are war related or not. I’m pretty sure the plate is Davenport ironstone ware but nothing I’ve searched comes up with that exact logo! They all look different in some way, either it be the unicorns legs are different or the lion! To my understanding that is the British cost of arms? Any info would be greatly appreciated! We love our little pottery pieces!!
