Last week I got permission from a new customer to walk his fields in east central La. I had noticed a small rise in one field about 3ft. tall. It has not rained very much since it was disked, but after this walk I will be back. I think this first one is a pecking stone or the start of a game stone


This one shows some pecking, but also maybe the start of a nutting stone
.
Some chips
A broke stem blade, I like the serration on it.

That point is nice but the best find of the day to me was this Quartz crystal scraper or point preform

It may not be much to most of you, but in my area you don't find much Quartz at all.
