Pre-Civil War Steam Boat Token

Wow, what a LARGE day Earthworks and I had...that's a hint about another post + photos to follow soon from today near the Hudson River. Until then, after Earthworks left I found a token with a tiny hole where it must have been worn around someone's neck. It's about the size of a penny and is badly bent, with one side not being readable. Other side very clear -- says outer edge: "New York and Albany" and inner "People's Line of Steam Boat" -- I was able to find the following interesting history...third paragraph talks about People's Line.
