Well, I leave for my roadtrip this coming Wednesday, but we had to take my daughter to the orthodontist today. I was a little bummed because there are a ton of banks over by her orthodontist and we usually hit them after her appointments -- none of them were open because of Columbus Day. Well, we went into the Super Walmarat and they had a Credit Union in there that was open on Columbus Day! We usually don't hit the CUs that much since they sometimes bug you about not being a member.... Anyways, we said what the heck and asked them for halves. They had $5 worth and exactly half of them were 40%ers! My daughter was standing next to me when the teller counted them out and we could clearly see the silver. My daughter kept punching me in the leg when she saw the silvers. Pretty good as it's been slow for a couple of weeks for us and only 5 clads to get rid of. I hope this is a good omen for my roadtrip later this week!
