I wish I could see a larger view of Bramblefinds picture post. There were several different Presidential sets and your tokens may be 50's era or from the 60's- early 70's gas station giveaway series. You can date them by the last president minted. Some have date above the head.

I have a set of similalr ones that was put out by Reader's Digest back in the 1960s I think? Monty

:icon_thumright: Yours appear to have horizontal dates to the side. The 50's set has dates above the head. This set has dates around the perimeter and I think its the gas station set. I cant remember but I have a bunch of these coins in my files.

Im starting to think this is an older set. Bramblefind may have it but I dont have any with nickel plating remaining..

Mine all appear to be brass? Since they are still in the wrappers I haven't examined them closely. Monty

Yours appear to be brass. But the dates on yours Monty appear to be in a different place than the two posted. There appears to be something horizontal on both sides of the heads, so not a match.

But thanks for posting. It shows how many different Presidential sets there are in existance. I will save your pic in my files. :icon_thumright:
