Found these over the course of a few days this week. Maybe an hour or two each night. If you know what they are, please let me know.

#1-bits and pieces. The almost complete point was an accident. I was waiting for my husband to finish digging in the bank and I happened to pick up a clump of dirt out of boredom. I crumbled it in my hand and there's a point in it!

#2-scrapers and preforms? front & back pix

#3-Chopper, scraper? and a cool piece of glass my daughter found.

You did a heck of a lot better than I did Heather. I hunted twice for over 3 hours each time and came home with a base and a tip and a bunch of flint. I hate hunts like that.

The last 2 ones IMO are the best. I really like the tools anyway. Finally somebody had a good hunt with plenty of artifacts. Looks like there is more than 1 period you are finding. Some of the best spots have many different artifacts from all different periods of time. Thanks for showing your finds, rock

Great hunt.
I would love one like that right now.
Good for you.

What period are you thinking? Archaic & Woodland? Lots of broken pottery, but probably colonial (brown stonewear, white/blue porcelain). I like the last two pieces as well. Nice and hefty!

Had plenty of rain the past few days so hoping to get the canoe out. There is supposed to be a cave in the area where artifacts were found (I'm not going in!!). Hoping all these floods have washed stuff out. After talking to many people from the area, it's been a hot spot for years. I can't seem to find anything online about it though. All I know is everytime we hunt, we find something :)

Yep just like the field I hunt. Even the color of the stone is the same as what I find. I sure hope they plow this yr so I can show you some I find here. Im sure nobody wants to see repeats of my finds.

Wow! The source of that material must be pretty big. You guys did well.

I had to come back and look at that big chopper one more time. How big is it as in length?
