I bought one at Lowes but I have to say it is way too easy too bend. A custom one would probably be a lot better.

Gentlemen,

John / Jaken makes probes. Any big box store bought probe might be fine for probing for utility pipes, or drainage tiles but is virtually useless as a privy probe. Been there, done that...
