Both work but the I-Detect is much more detailed about sites, trips, who what where when and which detecto and coil used.
Truthfully I haven't been using either lately. I'm waiting for that special "hot spot" to fully document. I will be hunting one new spot in the high country after the snow and after the mud before the sun bakes the ground hard.
