Sweet finds; that's a lot of proofs but the cherry on top of the Sunday is the 1970S. Congrats.

If you were talking about Maverick's proof hoard, his only covered 1999-2004 or 2005.

That's still pretty strange though that there were that many together, but congrats on finding some silvers!

Not all 1976S 40% silver were proofs
yours looks like a nonproof, doesn't matter though, it won't affect value.

Are you going to keep all those clad proofs?
I keep the two best CuNi proofs per year, that I have found and dump the rest.

Pulled many bic proofs the one pictured is silverclad. It Def does affect value, clad proofs sds essentially worth fifty cents. The silver bic proof is 40% silver so it's for around 2.50

1976 was a weird year for S mint marks.
There were 3 types of S mint quarters, halves and dollars (not including Ike varieties)
Proof CuNi
Proof 40% silver
Uncirculated 40% silver

The value of CuNi is face unless in flawless cond.
The 2 different types of silver are both worth spot silver unless in flawless cond.

Very difficult to find a coin that would rate >60 (PF65/MS63) in circulation, does take much to knock it down.

That's funny. I bet they are mine. I stopped saving proofs a few months ago. At that time I had well over 400 proofs and coming to grips with the fact that they really aren't worth anything I finally decided to dump them all in a coin counter three weeks ago.

You can get a little $ out of them on eBay. Separate them into sets. I have sold them in the past. People will pay a small premium, even if they are impaired.
