Perhaps the ugliest rock I have posted but it was so ugly I had to take it home. I understand that most any rock fooled with will fit your hand in what seems like a perfect fit,but does it fit in the correct way the possible tool would be used? The pic with my hand does that if this could be a big graver and the other end suggests it might have been hafted. Not sure on material, the mineral book I have now has black and white pics for the materials, useless .Holing in your hand it works for both left and right handed people. Be nice, lol, Carl

Very few Native American artifacts that I've ever seen are ergonomically correct and those that are....just coincidence.

sorry rls2040
not any disrespect meant here but it is just an odd shaped rock.....and that is all .......but thanks for the post and keep hunting we are nice .....but just a rock

once again , thanks

Hey 1320, I disagree on the ergonomics , not on points but on tools, hand axes are designed and made with finger protection in mind, most all scrapers we find in Georgia have a place for thumb.,I don't think they made a tool, that they would work hard and hold in their hand all day and just stopped without spending a little time to keep it from hurting their hand all day. JMHO, HH, Carl. Ps. That rock was so ugly I thought it needed recognition, lol,
