Prospecting around Franktown

Can anyone shade some light on prospecting around Parker & Franktown? Is it state or federal land. Has anyone ever prospected Cherry creek & lemon creek.

Franktown and elizabeth are almost suburbs of denver. It is hard to do anything up there. I think gpaa has a claim up there.
