prunes ready for harvest

The prunes are ripe enough to harvest. Machine grabs onto the tree trunk and then shakes the entire tree violently. Sometimes some of the branches get broken. The prunes all fall onto a large mat where they go over a blower that removes most of the leaves and dumps the prunes into a large, wooden crate that gets hauled off by another tractor and loaded onto trucks. Don't want to eat more than 3 or 4 at a time.

I remember the 'old days' when they picked them up by hand. :P
