Yea that's right "timekiller" is not hitting on all cylinders here lately. On a slum for some reason but maybe my luck will change now that I found this glass clover thingy today. :laughing9: Anyway took the boat and hit the river today.Tide was kinda high so not much room to work really.
Finds are...
More old musket shot and balls.
A arrowhead that would of been nice size but only found the back of it.
A piece of flint from a flint lock.
A piece of cuff link to add to Patches thread.
A piece of settler pipe.
A solid hook shaped piece of copper.
Some iron wheel I guess :dontknow:
And a clover leaf looking ash tray looking thing. :laughing9:
Purdy much blowed it today >:(
Went to multiple places on the river. Some show some signs of mabe doing something at. But need the tide low.

No need to dress it up I was thinking more like "hell". :laughing9: :laughing7: ;D

Really nice cuff link Pete. it came up pretty! Man, that''s a lot of lead too. I've only found two gun flints, and that was by sifting. In all, you got a picture of what went on there, and that's always neat. A lot of shooting! :icon_thumleft: :hello2:

Those are nice finds Pete, just gotta remember they wouldn't be found if you hadn't tried! The pipe piece almost looks more like bead than pipe. . .keep it up man!

Hey Pete, I'm still hanging my hat on that solitary cuff link I found yesterday. Don't rain on my parade man! :laughing7:

Pete, even the best of the best have bad days. Michael Jordan didn't score 40 points every game. And, Pete the Colonial Man won't score a pile of cut silvers and KG coppers on every trip. We all go through droughts, Pete, and I know you will break out of it with something sweeter than sweet. :notworthy:

Keep on swinging on that turf and you will be smiling like those Colonial tipplers did after winning a bet at the local tavern in 1776. :headbang: :laughing9: :headbang:

Kyle

But it's another cufflink button to add to the thread!

I'm still waiting for the "Eureka" thread when you find the other half of your spoon mold! But I'm following every one of your posts - junk or not!!! This coming from a guy in Missouri who has only found a buffalo & WWI button - in the same hole no less.

:laughing9: If and when I find that Baby.I will be using large letters on it's title. :laughing9: :laughing7 Yea I think of that mold almost everyday. And each time I go to that site I do normally find something.I believe there is more to that site then meets the eye.Just deep underground.I've noticed the last few times I've been that no matter how far you dig there are still signs of stuff that comes from the holes.Anyway I've been trying to find just one on line somewhere just to compare it too.No Luck dead ends everyway I go at it.I've been sending out for help even to one of the guy's on the antique road show. :laughing9: Nope he say's sorry never seen nothing like it and knows nothing about it. :laughing9: And that is my responce from just about everyone I've contacted that has got back with me. I'd just like to see another one out there somewhere to look at but know Ideas how. Must be a one of a kind.If anyone knows of one like it's age and can show a pick I sure would love to see it and most certinaly if there is a story with it as well.
Other wise on these hunts here I'm not bothered to bad I've got some sites up my sleeve later on this winter that might get me back on line.
Also thanks for the replies guy's! :icon_thumleft: :icon_thumright:

You might try hitting that wheel with electrolysis. Some one on here has something similar to that and cleaned it with amazing results of some decorative work. You never know whats under all that stuff.

I see two nice buttons there. it wasn't a total loss. Things will get better.

It beats the days I came home with nothing but can slaw and mashed Hot Wheels cars ;D
