While out behind my house this weekend I decided to dig an iffy/mixed signal with the DFX. I had on the 6X9 DD Eclipse as the coal ashes make it tough with my other coil. The DFX was telling me it was 6 inches. Great. I knew the layer of coal ash was 4 to 5 inches down below the rather hard dry Central PA soil. Another solid inch of ash to excavate. After digging a rather large plug the Bullseye II pinpointer sniffed out the Goodwill Hose Company token. Nothing to indicate it's age. The next target was the Melvin Purvis Jr G-Man Girls Division badge. Here is some info:

Next the remnants of the purse frame followed by the old Avon lipstick tube, compact, and some type of antibacterial tin. I thought I had it all but rescanned the hole to find there was a penny reading about a half inch farther down. Sure enough, out popped 3 wheaties, the key and the square top to an unknown tin. The wheats are 44,45 and 55.
Thanks for looking,
Hal

Those items would make my day as I collect both Firefighting memorabilia (the token) and toy badges. Not bad for a backyard find. Any idea what little girl lived there back in the 50's?

Great stuff!!
