While driving around trying to find new sites to hunt, I came across this. The guy has been working on it for 3 yrs. He is a blacksmith & has done the work himself. I was thrilled he let me look it over & take pics.

It was a hard life mamabear, not everyone survived the trip west, and for those that did, life didn't really get any easier.

When we got to this small town that we live close by today, it was back in the early sixties. We got to see the last wagon still used in town. It had car tires, and it was the only transportation that family had. The man would pull stumps with his mules, and plow gardens around town. We are beyond spoiled nowadays.

I like your avatar, we used to raise those birds back in the nineties. Still have huge incubator made for green eggs only. My Mom got to make green eggs, and ham.:laughing7:
