Second time out with the AT Pro and found about 3 pieces of this stuff.

At first covered in soil the heart races until you find a lead bag seal minutes later and then the weight difference is huge.

They are found in soil in fields in a gold area but I would say as light in weight as Aluminium. They are hard and unbendable but if broken a silvery colour internally.

Your items may be aluminum or zinc slag. (Melted down tin foil or an aluminum can.)

Thanks Old Digger, I think you are correct as I went out again this afternoon and found some Aluminium roofing nails which had also attained a gold finish to them from being in this ground which I think is very acidic.
