It was a sunny & still day, the ground quickly unfroze & I managed 5.5 hours (Dad joining me for 1.5 hours) in confortable conditions.

3 Hammered (Dad got the halfgroat on his first dig )
Elizabeth I 1566 Sixpence
Elizabeth I 1601 Halfgroat (another late date I need)
Cut Halfpenny of Henry III or John with an unusual mint - [ALI]SANDRE - Alexander (Moneyer) of either Ipswich, Wallingford or Rochester. Pretty sure I have no shortcross from any of these mints

These are the first hammered this year & the first from this field, we must be due a bad day soon

I'm pretty keen on it myself
We have just about complete 50% of the field, although things are going much better than expected, I have a feeling the second half of the field is the least productive. We are long overdue a payback period
