Quantum 2

Since the last post I have gotten a Whites Quantum 2 . I've read the online manual and was wondering if anyone has real time exp with this machine. If so please share this with me; good, bad and indifferent . The reveiws have been a 50/50 thing really good or really bad. Thx's gottit

I've got a buddy with one and he's found ALOT of CW stuff with his. He hunted with it for about 7-8 years and got a fisher, because he wanted to try something else.

I was a White's dealer at the time and I personally didn't like it, but then again I was using an XLT.

I didn't like the constant scrolling action on the display and he said it told him alot more than I ever got out of it.

I have one and love it. I sold it when I bought a Spectrum and bought another Quantum because I missed it. It is nice to have a michine you really know around when you need it. I am learning the Spectrum and still using the Quantum II. I sold my old one to my buddy, bought another for myself and one for my Father-in law. It is a great beginners detector.
