After soaking in hot water some of the gold particles came of and yielded clearer picture of he crystal formation.

I'm not sure what your question is, or if there even is one, but you have Hematite/Quartz/Iron Oxide.... I've collected plenty of similar specimens,

My best guess is golden limonite on smokey quartz cluster, just a guess though...

Yes, I found it a swap meet among a lot of other specimens of various crystals. I am not on the exciting venture of identifying all of them.
